Part 01; A party at PB's

Characters will arrive in the main hall of the castle feeling a little woozy from their trip between dimensions. Princess Bubblegum will be there to explain the situation, and let them know that a party will be held in their honor. For anyone worried, she'll be sure to assure them that once the party is over she’ll send them all home. Easy as pie, right?

During the time between their arrival and the party, characters will be allowed to explore the town and castle, though they will be stopped before they can leave the city. You wouldn't want to get lost out in this strange new world, right? PB will want to hear about other character’s worlds, too, so there’s plenty for people to do while they wait.

After that, it’s party time! There are snacks, music, and games, and the whole of Candy Kingdom is in attendance. Characters are expected to shake their buns, have a good time, and mingle with Candy Kingdom’s many citizens. Everything’s great!

Until Ice King swoops in and steals the bubble wand, leaving characters without a way home.

✦ So, what’s stopping my character from leaving?

All gates are closed, and guards will deny anyone trying to leave. Any characters who do try to make a daring escape will be found by a candy guardian and returned.

Leaving Ooo to go home is technically possible; however, any attempts will be stopped by Peppermint Butler, who seems to charm characters into forgetting the idea entirely. If a character somehow manages to sneak around Peppermint Butler, they’ll be scolded by Princess Bubblegum. Stop being impatient, yo.

✦ What about Ice King? Why does he even want the bubble wand?

He doesn’t actually want it; he’s just upset no one invited him to the party. Normally Finn and Jake would handle this, but since they are off on other business, Princess Bubblegum will gather characters up and send them off to get it back. Not without Provisions and a way to keep in touch with her, of course.

This event is divided into two parts, so nothing feels rushed. There will be more on the specifics on the journey to Ice King's place in a few days, when part two of the event goes up! In the meantime get out there, have a great time, and get ready to bemoan the loss of the bubble wand.
